Located on the steeply sloped South Shore of Lake Wenatchee, this home is being designed and built as a custom prefab. The minimal interior opens up to the exterior through large expanse of glass while the canopy structure mimics the varying angles of the forest floor.
Meant to be a vacation cabin off the beaten path, the adventurous owners preferred a short hike in the woods to get up to their front door. This lower portion of the house will be site built, mainly exposed concrete, containing two bedrooms, a bath and entry space to kick off their boots. Proceed up to the main floor of the house where the living, dining and kitchen open up as one large entertaining area. This is the 48' long modular portion of the house that will be skinned in both metal and glass with the large deck projecting out to the lake beyond. See more about the Prefab Process.
