This house was inspired by the Pacific Northwest woodlands, water, and sky. This woodland lodge is filled with hand-crafted interiors. The house was designed for an extended family, with both of the owner’s daughters and husbands collaborating on their respective bedroom-bathroom suites. The kitchen is designed as furniture; the precise cabinetry is as much a part of the great living room space, as is the massive fireplace.
The exterior of the house is comprised of fieldstone base foundation and rough cut cedar shakes, with hewn posts and cedar decking. The entire house is filled with the warmth and texture of varied materials and craft.
