DESIGNER

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON


We are looking for a full-time entry-level employee to join our studio in Seattle. You should be eager to learn, flexible, and able to assist with a variety of ongoing project tasks. We need someone up to the challenge of creative problem-solving in a support position across multiple projects, and envision a role that provides hands on experience at all stages of project delivery with plenty of room for growth.

Required

  • Degree in architecture; B.Arch or M.Arch preferred
  • 1+ years of experience, preferably in custom single-family residential design
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD or AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe software suite
  • Well developed design sensibilities
  • Interest in technical knowledge and thoughtful detailing


Extras

  • Experience with ArchiCAD or other BIM software
  • Working toward licensure

 

The ideal candidate has a year or more of experience working on custom residential architecture in a small firm and is looking for a full-time entry level position in a fun, collaborative environment with the opportunity to use a broad array of existing skills and learn plenty of new ones. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with the residential construction process and has exposure to the stages of project delivery including design, presentation, construction documents, and construction administration.

PROJECT ARCHITECT

WINTHROP, WASHINGTION


We seek a full-time employee to join our dynamic design team. The position will be based out of our satellite architectural studio in Winthrop, Washington, in the heart of the beautiful Methow Valley.

The Methow Valley and surrounding North Cascades mountain range have long represented a mecca for climbers, hikers and skiers. As a result, our small but thriving office in Winthrop, Washington has produced multiple award-winning vacation cabins. In addition, we often take on local, community-based projects, such as a recently-completed Montessori school in Winthrop. Required
• Professional Degree
•2-3+ years of experience, preferably in residential design
•Strong understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp (or other modeling software), and Adobe software suite
•Creative thinking tempered with strong technical knowledge
•Focus on thoughtful detailing

Extras
•Experience working in ArchiCAD
•Architectural licensure or working towards completion
