Designed as a 4 module custom prefab home, this 2,280 square foot house was delivered to an urban lot in the city of Coquitlam, British Columbia. Featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, both the lower and upper floors of the house consist of 2 long, skinny modules. The lower floor includes the great room and guest suite while the upper floor contains the master suite and 2 smaller bedrooms. The width and roof form of the modules vary, creating interesting spaces that include a southwest facing deck and a band of clerestory windows at the upper level.
Work performed on site was limited to the concrete foundation for the house and construction of the attached garage, which was built while the modules were fabricated at the factory saving on site time & costs. See more about the Prefab Process.
