Jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean, the site has been known to shipwreck numerous boats on its shores. This project was meant to evoke the feeling of a dry docked vessel perched on the waters’ edge, ready to go back out to sea. From the vantage point of the main living space perched out over the ocean, the client can take in the prevailing wind storms. The entry and guest room concrete base is set into the site while opening up to the Atlantic views with walk-out patio space.
