This project involves updating the worn exterior of this 1960's home to create a welcoming street front and reconnect the main living space to the verdant rear yard. An expanded garage is fronted by a delicate steel trellis that ties into a new entry canopy. A new glassy entry brings light into the home. The vaulted roof addition will open up the living room to the rear deck and terraced yard. The front yard site design uses native plantings, boulders, and a water feature to further enliven the approach experience.
